Natural Maui Wedding Photography
It was an extreme pleasure to create natural Maui wedding photography for Jake and Kaena. The bride grew up here and has an understanding of the beauty this area possess being right in the heart of Iao Valley. Her haku or head lei added a natural touch to her simple yet elegant gown.
The Bailey House Museum was the perfect backdrop for Jake and Kaena. Their natural Maui wedding photography was inspired by the backdrop of lush greenery and their choice of very organic details. The whole day was very relaxed and yet focused on their sweet love story. Many details were thoughtfully hand crafted out of wood from their home in Northern California.
Ring bearer's box was hand crafted by the couple with a coral background.
The Bailey House Museum is a working museum in the heart of Wailuku with grounds that are pristinely taken care of and reminds you of an old style Hawaii.
Their ceremony was framed by the natural, yet rustic backdrop of a gorgeous olive tree. There was lots of laughter and of course tears. Look for Kaena's reaction during their ring ceremony as she is surprised with a much fancier ring than she had ever suspected. Jake kept it all a surprise for his bride. Her face is says it all.
These wood coasters were handmade and etched by the couple and given to each guest.
The guest book was also a special piece of artwork designed by the couple.
These shower trees on the property are so delicate and romantic adding such beauty to their portraits and details.
And of course, these cake holders were made by the couple! Even the lovebird cake topper!
Can't wait to watch these two live out their love story day in and out, bringing their humor and depth to all they do.
