chanticleer gardens seems to have some sort of magic.

every turn reveals another garden wonder.

i discovered it late last year so this year i got a season pass, enjoying it as much as i could especially in spring.

it seemed fitting, as I was trying to cram in as many of my favorite things in my last days in philly, to introduce some of my favorite people to one of my favorite places.

every time i hang out with lisa and her kiddos i learn something new about motherhood and about priorities.

she is passionate and seizes those moments that could easily be passed by.

we roamed the grounds for a while and then sat down for a snack then promptly got in trouble for not eating in a designated picnic area. oops!

sienna making the zen rock garden....uh... not so zen.

then i failed miserably at getting the ever coveted shot of lisa and BOTH her kids smiling. we tried.
